At the Church of St. Mary and St. Martha we want our youth to grow in their knowledge and love of God as they grow in years. We also want to see them build and develop healthy relationships with others. Our goal is to form compassionate and thoughtful Christian leaders who are equipped to face all of life’s challenges.
On the first Friday of the month our teens gather together to learn, eat, pray, serve, make music, and have fun. Often this happens at the church but sometimes in a home or elsewhere. We also connect with other churches on occasion for a bigger event.
One of the main ways that our youth get involved on Sunday morning is through serving in the liturgy as a server, reader, intercessor, or greeter. The guild meets every few months for a time of learning and practice and is co-led by our two head servers, both of whom are screened in accordance with the diocesan Safe Church policy.
Confirmation is a special season of prayer and preparation. Learn more about confirmation at the Church of St. Mary and St. Martha.
